Bakels Holds Cake Finishing Demonstration And Workshop

In line with the Bakels commitment to share product applications expertise with its valued customers, Bakels Philippines organized a Cake Decorating Workshop for cake and pastry decorators with Ms. Janine Small of New Zealand Bakels as resource person and facilitator. The FCBAI Training Center officially opened its doors to welcome the Bakels participants, who had the privilege of being the first group to make use of the brand new and well-equipped training facility at the ground floor of the FCBAI Building last April 25-26, 2006.
The participating cake decorators made use of various cake finishing products from Bakels such as the Bakels Whipped Topping, Bakels Whipping Cream, Bakels Piping Jelly , Bakels Heat-and-Pour Chocolate Truffle, Pettinice RTR Fondant Icing to finish and decorate pre-baked cakes made out of Bakels premixes like the Pettina Sponge Cake Mix Complete and Bakels Muffin Mix, as well as the No-Bake Fudge Slices. |

Valuable techniques and tips on cake finishing and decoration, alternative baking tools and options to reduce recipe cost using Bakels products were shared by Ms. Small with the workshop participants, who were delighted to have hands-on experience with the various Bakels products. Participants expressed their interest and support by looking forward to a similar workshop in the very near future.
The same workshop was also held at a separate venue in Cebu City for key provincial accounts from Visayas and Mindanao.
